Impact Alabama’s fundamental staffing model relies on employing talented, intelligent, and socially conscious recent college graduates for one or two years following graduation. Our team members travel statewide to implement our signature initiatives, earning only a modest stipend for their tremendous service.

Chris Fite
Regional Coordinator
Chris Fite, a native of Decatur, Alabama, graduated summa cum laude from Samford University in May 2011 with a major in history and a minor in classics. While at Samford, Chris served as a coordinator for service projects in Perry County, Alabama. He held officer positions in Phi Alpha Theta and Eta Sigma Phi honor societies. In 2009, Chris worked as a research assistant for a Samford history professor. He has also completed archival internships at the Birmingham Public Library, Morgan County Archives, and Samford University Library. He studied abroad in Italy, Greece, India, and Bhutan. Following his time with Impact, Chris plans to attend graduate school to study history.
