Impact Alabama’s fundamental staffing model relies on employing talented, intelligent, and socially conscious recent college graduates for one or two years following graduation. Our team members travel statewide to implement our signature initiatives, earning only a modest stipend for their tremendous service.

Jacqueline Koncsol
Regional Coordinator
Jacqueline Koncsol, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, graduated summa cum laude and with University Honors from the University of Alabama in May 2011 with a degree in mathematics and a minor in biology. While studying at UA, Jacqueline helped found the Honors College Assembly as the Director of Civic Engagement. She participated in Art to Life, a program that works with Alzheimer’s patients, and she also served as an Honors College mentor at Matthews Elementary School, a Blueprints mentor at Central High School, and a chemistry and mathematics tutor at UA. She was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and Pi Mu Epsilon, and in 2010, she was awarded the Dr. Fred A. and Frances Pickens Lewis Award for excellence in mathematics. Jacqueline enjoyed playing clarinet in the Million Dollar Band and Wind Ensemble, setting for the 2007 UA intramural volleyball championship team, and teaching Vacation Bible School. Following her time with Impact Alabama, she plans to attend graduate school.
